The Chopard Mille Miglia 2006 Gran Turismo XL is a numbered edition watch collection with only 2,006 pieces produced as a tribute to the Mille Miglia Race this year. The Mille Miglia is a 1,000 km (~621.5 mile) race organized in Italy every summer. The racetrack stretches from Rome to Presca and back to Rome. The watchcase is made of premium stainless steel. It measures 44mm and it has a sapphire crystal, a screw down winding crown, and caseback engraved with the race road.

At Baselworld 2004 Ferdinand Porsche AG, Stuttgart unveiled the new Porsche Design Indicator watch to the public – a luxuriously designed watch combining chronograph functions with a mechanical digital display for the first time. It was made possible due to what is currently the most complex, series-production watch movement in the world inside this timekeeper.
