Online shopping has many advantages over making purchases in a usual shop. According to results of some polls 70 per cent of respondents think that the main advantage of shopping in the Internet is considerable time saving. Approximately the same number of Internet users prefer buying things online because of possibility to do that round the clock.
In order to save time about one third of European prefer buying things they need at the workplace. 80 per cent of the French buy tickets and pay their invoices online, whereas the Germans are the most frequent visitors and participants of online auctions.
However, many people still neglect all advantages of shopping in the Internet and give their preference to making purchases in usual shops.
The poll carried out by Ipsos-Reid company showed that some Internet users do not buy anything online for the following reasons

• Impossibility to touch and to thoroughly examine the article (35 per cent of users)
• Too high cost of delivery (28 per cent of respondents)
• Difficulties related to matters concerning complaints, return of products and other problems (28 per cent of polees)
• Payment for Internet access (18 per cent of users)

As well almost all respondents have grave doubts about maintaining of personal information confidentiality and security of payment.
Let us see why some of these a doubts are groundless.

Do you really need to touch everything?

No doubt, a shirt or a dress must be tried on. But is there a real necessity to have in your hands a CD, a book, a TV set, and many other articles? Any buyer is aware how these objects look.
